Chitran was not born in a boardroom or a factory — it was born at a worktable, with a paintbrush in hand. In 2017, we started Chitran with nothing more than a dream, a background in fashion design, and a lifelong love for painting. There was no big investment, no machinery, no mass production plan — only the belief that fabric deserves to be treated as a canvas, and that clothing can carry the same soul as a painting. What began as a quiet dream became one of India's most distinctive handcrafted couture labels.

Every piece at Chitran is painted entirely by hand — on organza sarees, georgette anarkalis, and couture garments made from premium fabrics chosen with great care. No two pieces are ever identical. Each garment carries its own brushstrokes, its own mood, its own story. This is not fast fashion. This is slow, intentional craft — made the way it was always meant to be made, with time, skill, and genuine artistry.
